The mitosis of Behind The Lines

I have made a couple of decisions:

Writing for Behind The Lines is going well. I am close to the end of Act I. Act I is considerably longer than the rough plan requires and there is nothing immediately obvious to cut out of the story. (I have been editing as I go.) The whole novel looks like 180K words in total, which is too long. It was meant to be 120K, which many would also argue is too long. I am going to release this novel in two parts of 90K words, which will still follow a three-act structure. Because the novel is shorter, I intend to proportionally reduce the cost of the eBook & Audiobook from £12.99 to £9.99 for each part. I will do the same with the print version, but it is more complicated to work out the costs. Particularly as I have been giving free delivery. More info will follow on this in due course. This seems like the best compromise to protect the integrity of the story I have planned that I want to tell. I will still only count this as one novel for the purpose of the book count for the series.
